Bloggers Brunch: Ironique

Ironique - Auckland Cafe Reviewfdizai

This month’s bloggers brunch was going to be at RAD cafe, after reading this great review on nzgirl about it, I knew I wanted to give it a go. So the plan was to meet there and try it out. When we arrived, around 11, it was packed. We decided to take the party elsewhere as we were quite hungry and didn’t want to wait.

We strolled across the street and landed at Ironique, an old faithful to me and a first to some of the girls, perfect blend.

The decor in this place is great, light fittings, table number holders, the bathroom – completely decked out in things made from iron – so cool. The food was deleicous and as always the company was divine xx

Vegetarian Breakfast at Ironique - Auckland Cafe Review

Lizzy and Maddy got the Vegetarian Breakfast, those slices of haloumi had me going for some serious order envy. I got a herb potato stack with a poached egg and chorizo and felt very satisfied! That potato pattie was delicious!

The Service was great, efficient and busy. In fact it was perfect in my mind as I didn’t really have to deal with them, they were there doing their job and we were left to enjoy our meals.

The Coffee was nice. Nothing stand out for me, but Maddy’s Mocha was really pretty (in picture above) with their name written in hand on top!

The Music was quiet – as we were outside.

If I Go Back I’ll have a proper look in their front counter for things to eat, the menu had a great array of food available, but when I went up to order there were lots of yummy looking things there too!

What is Bloggers Breakfast Club?
A monthly meet up with local Auckland bloggers. It all started out on twitter, with Laura, Lizzy and Maddy all talking about how amazing food is, and how there are so many lovely -and new- cafes opening up around Auckland. We decided it would be cool to get together and try some of these places out, while talking about blogging, beauty and getting to know each other!
If you’d like to come along to one and join in on our chit chat, you can just give us a tweet! @lauralaurablog

    1. It’s true, in Auckland we are spoilt for choice! Where abouts are you based Nicola?
If you come up to Auckland anytime we’d love to have you along for a Bloggers Brunch! x

      1. All the way down in the Wairarapa. We do have some nice cafes, but of course being small it’s a small range. O yes I’d definitely be keen to come to a Bloggers Brunch. Such a good idea 🙂
