Snail eye cream.
Yep – that’s what made me visit this store in Newmarket, Auckland. Snail eye cream.
Well, snail secreation cream eye cream to be exact. A couple of the girls from work had been in to the Hikoco store in Newmarket and got talking about the amazing eye cream made with/from snails!
I ventured over to newmarket the other weekend, and after a coffee with a friend I remembered that Hikoco was just around the corner so went for a look. I ended up walking out about $90 poorer but excited about what I’d got.

Writing this post I realised I’d already used the peeling foot mask before I grabbed a picture of it – the foot mask was amazing and they’re NOT kidding about the peeling part. My friend and fellow blogger Lena Talks did a review a similar product that you can read about here. It’s definitely worth as my feet are baby soft now, but definitely don’t do the peel when you know you’re going to have your feet out for 1-2 weeks.

I love that the eye cream comes with a handy applicator and the cotton pads I got (1. they were cheap, and 2.) because the store had them available to use when trying and taking off make up. They’re super absorbent and great for taking of face makeup – a little rough for around the eyes though.
Hi Square Hand Mirror
The Liquid Shadow is probably my favourite purchase of the lot. I use it nearly everyday as part of my make up routine. It’s very very similar to the Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadows but for a fraction of the cost.
